Welcome to the webpage of Mijas Real Estate's Mijas Golf page providing essential information about the Golf courses here on
Mijas Golf in the Mijas Costa area on the Costa del Sol.
Well lets see what makes this the ideal place for a round or two of golf, in relaxed surroundings with the climate being mild for
most of the year (approx 300 days of sunshine), travelling to the Costa del Sol is easiest acheived by taking a short flight
at a reasonable cost from one of the many airports near to you directly into
Malaga airport
with flight distances of just over 2 hours and a short taxi ride from the airport of approx 25 minutes you can easily come down
to Mijas Golf for just the weekend, there are many places to stay here in Mijas Golf and surrounding areas and if you so wish you
could even buy a property and rent it out during the times you are not using it with a rental agent looking after your interests.
The rent can often pay for all the expenses of owning a property here whether it's a villa, apartment, studio, townhouse or
penthouse there is always someone wanting to rent.

Los Olivos Course
Los Olivos
course designed by Robert Trent Senior, the main feature which distinguishes this course from The Lakes
is the abundance of trees – hence the name – and its smaller size, as well as fewer water hazards. The greens are smaller,
undulating and well defended. Although both are the work of the same designer, there is no doubt there are interesting
contrasts between the two courses: if Los Lagos are based on hazards of water and sand, Los Olivos is strategic narrow tree
lined fairways and elevated greens.

Los Lagos Course
Los Lagos
course with its 6,367 metres, this course is the longer of the two which comprise of Mijas Golf.
This was designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior, Los Lagos is a ground course with wide fairways and a few forest trees obstacles, but
is defended by many bunkers and nine lakes, from which the course gets its name and which easily trap the ball. It is a course
with soft movement and large greens. It could be said that the American designer wanted to present a course especially for
amateurs, but at the same time, it can present a challenge for the best players.
